We are proud to announce that our project at Carouge 87 highlights rainwater harvesting. Thanks to Arnaud Pasche, an architect from our Sustainable Renovation Service, concrete actions have been implemented, including the treatment and reuse of an old oil tank to collect rainwater. This initiative reflects our dedication to integrating water recovery into our sustainable renovation efforts.
A Committed Sustainable Renovation Service
Renovating and transforming buildings are essential for ensuring the longevity of your real estate assets. Our dedicated service focuses on environmental preservation, aiming to create a greener and more ethical real estate future. We are deeply committed to a circular economy, where waste is repurposed into valuable resources. In Geneva, construction waste accounts for 70% of all waste produced 4.6 million tons annually. Nationally, this figure reaches approximately 17 million tons. In response to these challenges, we continuously strive to reduce our environmental impact.
Our Team and Mission
Since its creation in 2021, our Sustainable Renovation Service has relied on an experienced team of certified architects (MPQ) and transformation specialists. We support property owners at every stage of their projects, offering feasibility studies for obtaining quality labels, comprehensive diagnostics, and detailed strategic and financial planning. We also assess potential funding options, including cantonal and federal subsidies as well as tax exemptions.
Innovating for Reduced Environmental Impact
Our commitment to innovation is reflected in our support for Swiss startups specializing in construction and energy. We integrate sustainable practices into our projects by choosing durable and recycled materials, reducing construction waste, and optimizing water management. For example, we use certified wood, recycled concrete, and rainwater harvesting systems for purposes such as low-flow toilets.
