This 400 m² commercial space in Geneva, located in the Saint-Jean/Voltaire district just steps from Cornavin Station, has recently undergone a complete energy renovation. The work was designed to meet current needs while enhancing every part of the building, significantly improving its comfort and appeal.
On the ground floor, insulation has been reinforced to ensure better energy efficiency, and the façade has been modernized around the entire building. The courtyard-side joinery, entrance door, and garage door have been replaced for improved security and optimized thermal comfort.
The lower roof has been completely redone with the upcoming installation of thermal solar panels, allowing future tenants to benefit from renewable heat production and thus reduce their daily expenses. Accessibility has been optimized with the creation of restrooms adapted for people with reduced mobility, and a modern ventilation system has been integrated to ensure good air quality.
The first floor, which is residential, has also been redesigned to offer a pleasant environment. The floors have been renovated, the interior paintwork refreshed, and the kitchen modernized while preserving some original features. The stairwell windows have been replaced for more light and security, and the electrical, heating, and ventilation systems have been updated to meet current standards.
